Money and mp3s...

I got my first pay! +yippie+ I went yesterday to the bank to check my account and voilà! Plus 900€. I must say, it felt really good to see a three-digit number in my account. And even better: it’s not overdrawn money.
One of my most precious and I-cannot-live-without-it belongings is my mp3-player. I almost use it every where I go or where you can find me. In my room (‘coz I can’t listen to loud music on account of the house has really thin walls and you can hear every whisper), on my way to school in the bus, shopping, walking, jogging or anywhere I go. You’ll even see me using it while backing something or storing the groceries in the cellar. Yes, I am totally addicted to my mp3-player, and not only that, I’m proud of it too. It has 1GB memory and lots of other goodies. It works even better than other players, like the stereo’s louder and has a nice folder system in it. +sighs+
Now, for the second time, I had to send my mp3-player back to the manufacturer because of some malfunctioning. My problem is, the first time I send it back, they didn’t return the receipt. And it says for a replacement demand you need to send the product back with its receipt as a proof of its valid three years guarantee. My very reliable and proper father ( I really, really mean that!) made a copy of the receipt and send it instead of the original. I don’t know if the manufacturer accepted it, but I have no good hopes. A letter without a sender's address for my father came a week after I brought my player to the post. It looks suspiciously from Tevion (the brand of my player) but I am not really sure. I cannot open it for it’s my dad’s letter and he was the one who filled the form for it. He is in the moment in Poland with my mum and my brother and he might arrive at weekend. But when the hell is weekend? Or which day at weekend?
I decided to buy a new one in case it goes bonkers again. The mp3-player my dad gave me was one of those weekly offers from a discount shop. The products that the shop offers are, surprisingly, not to be underestimated. In fact, they mostly have really good quality. We bought once a computer from that shop (Aldi for those who really want to know it) and that was like, 7-8 years ago. Believe it or not, the computer still works. I am actually using it right now, because it’s only the one with the internet connection. Okay, the quality now is not as good anymore as for 7 years, but it still works. And that’s what counts momentarily.
This example shows how reliable the products are and how come we trusted the brand and bought my player there. So, don’t think my dad was just being penny-pinching at Christmas. No, he even asked me which one I preferred. And I was the one who chose the cheaper one. And that’s what I get for it.
Feeling that the chances I get a replacement for my mp3-player were really low, I went yesterday to an electronics shop to check some mp3-players, and boy, did I find a good one. 2GB Memory, Touch-function, looks like an ipod but it’s not. Small and handy. Cute. Sexy. I LOVED IT! I literally fell in love with it! I have right now this extreme craving to posses such thing. I am even wishing that I will not get a replacement for my old mp3-player so I can buy it. I do have the money now for it +grins from ear to ear+ It costs 149€ and, damn, I am willing to pay for it. I decided to buy a real good player that, hopefully will last longer than 3 years. And since ipods are the future compactable radio and I can not afford it now, I will buy this one instead.
